Reset Conversations

Private, time-bound advisory conversations for leaders navigating complexity, burnout, institutional pressure, or transition.

What this is

A Reset Conversation is a structured, confidential conversation designed to help you assess what’s actually happening in a difficult or high-stakes work situation—and decide what to do next.

People book these conversations when something at work feels off, unstable, or unfair, and they need a place to think clearly before acting.

This is not coaching, therapy, or motivational work.
It’s a clear-headed assessment of your situation, your options, and the tradeoffs involved.

Session Length

Reset Conversations are available as:

  • 90-minute sessions for focused assessment and immediate clarity

  • Half-day sessions when the situation is complex, political, or high-stakes

Both formats follow the same approach. The difference is how much space you need to fully assess what’s going on..

What It’s For

People use Reset Conversations when they are:

  • Navigating conflict, pressure, or instability at work

  • Questioning whether they’re being misread, sidelined, or treated unfairly

  • Facing a decision they don’t want to rush or regret

  • Trying to understand power dynamics, expectations, or risk

  • Deciding whether to stay, push back, renegotiate, or leave

Some people come in unsure.
Some come in knowing something is wrong.

The conversation is designed to handle both.

What to Expect

This is a working conversation.

We slow the situation down and look at it clearly—without assuming you’re wrong, overreacting, or imagining things.

During the session, we:

  • Clarify what’s actually happening (and what isn’t)

  • Separate facts, assumptions, and interpretations

  • Identify pressure points, risks, and leverage

  • Surface realistic options and timing

  • Talk through consequences without pushing you toward a decision

The goal is not to fix you or tell you what to do.
The goal is to help you see the situation clearly enough to decide for yourself.

You leave with:

  • A clearer understanding of what’s going on

  • Language to describe the situation accurately

  • Options you can evaluate calmly

  • A sense of direction that fits your role and capacity

Many people say the most valuable part is having a place to think out loud without being rushed, corrected, or gaslit.

This is strategic advising and support—not therapy, legal advice, or medical care. If you’re in crisis or need clinical treatment, I’ll encourage you to connect with the appropriate support.
